This week is going terribly for me! I was sick for the first few days but then dh didn't feel like working out yesterday and so it never happened. I am getting really frustrated with him messing up my routine and thinking about changing up my routine so that I can workout without him sometimes. Since I'm lifting heavier weights I usually need him to spot me or with my squats I need him to help me lift the barbell over my head. I am thinking about learning a new way to do my squats so I'm not reliant on him because I'm getting tired of being mad at him. He wants me to work out with him so I think he would be upset if I started doing things on my own but I need to figure something out because he can be really inconsistent and I'm tired of having to push him to do everything. It's hard enough pushing myself.

I agree with finding a way to do your own thing, its not fair he's holding you back. Hope this week gets better for you.

I missed a strength training workout on Tuesday so I probably won't make my goals this week as I want to keep a rest day. DS was up every 1.5 hours the night before and I desperately needed a nap...that outweighed my need to workout. We did go for a long walk and play at the park that afternoon but I wanted to do my strength training that day.

I'm sorry your week isn't going well. I'd be frustrated as well if I had to depend on someone else to do my workouts, especially if they weren't consistent. Hope you figure out something that works. Are you feeling any better?

I'm on track so far. Today will be a rest day for me, I think.

So sorry your week isn't going well Patty. I agree that modifying your workout so that you could do it without him would be a good idea. That would be super frustrating!

I am still on track - need to get in a workout today, tomorrow and Sunday to make it. Have been logging everything on MFP like I should again.

I'm sorry that you haven't had a great week I agree that modifying your workout so you at least have the option to workout without him makes sense.

I'm on track so far, I need to get in one more run (I ran this morning), and one more strength training (although I'll do more than that probably).

so far so good here even though I haven't been wanting to do it....I am doing it anyways one more elliptical run and I got that goal covered for the week...

I'm doing ok with all of them, still need to get another run in and that has been difficult and I'm not so sure it's going to happen :/ There just aren't enough hours in the day.
