Do you get as excited about improvement in your physical strength/endurance or improvement as you do results you can see in your body's physical appearance?

I do want my body to look better but I don't think my body looks bad so even though I get impatient with the results I can see, I don't really get that upset. I really get excited to see myself lifting heavier weights because that is a tangible way for me to measure my progress and see that I am making improvement. I think I get almost more excited about this because when I look at my body it's sometimes hard for me to tell if there's any difference (at this point anyway). I think seeing my improvements keeps me going.

Right now, its a huge high to be able to jog the times I am...22 minutes today! And the weights on the bowflex...but I think both of those contribute to how things are changing...my upper abs are starting to peek out!

Yes I definitely get excited when I can lift a bit heavier or I can do a few more push ups or I can run a bit faster or a little longer. but I do get really excited when I start to see some abs again!!

Yes, I definitely get excited to see these "Non-Scale Victories".
