I am so happy I decided to change my routine. I wasn't sure if two workouts would be too much but it's working out really well. The circuit workouts aren't that hard for me and they only take me about 20 minutes and I still get a fairly decent workout. What's great is that my dd has been wanting to workout with me but it's been too hard to workout with her and dh. So now me and her are doing the morning circuit workout together. It's perfect for her because we're not using heavy weights and it's nice for me because I get some company when I workout. Plus, I really feel good about getting her working out. She is a little overweight and is very insecure about her body. I want to do something to make her feel better about herself.

And the second workout is working out better too. I have cut out any redundant exercises and tried to use my gym machine as much as I can so we just have to use a pin and not switch the barbell weight too much. Doing the same weight for every set has made the workout go so much faster. I've upped our sets to 4 instead of 3 but I also reduced our reps from 12 down to 8-10 so we're doing about the same amount of reps but it just takes less time. So we got our second workout done in 30-35 minutes yesterday. It was taking an hour and a half to two hours to do our workout and now I am doing two workouts that take about an hour total. I think this is more efficient and effective than what we were doing and hopefully I will be able to stick with it better because it's not taking so long.

I'm excited for you! I bet streamlining the routines to make it quicker will help a lot, especially on the hectic days!
