My weight didn't change this week from last week, so I guess the post-partum "shed" is done. Weight-wise I did really well this time; I started at 185 and am now at 183. So I have just about 20 pounds to lose to reach my goal of 160.

I lost a lot of conditioning, though. I can't do even one single standard push-up with good form! And even though my weight is the same as before, I am a size bigger. So there's another proof that the scale doesn't tell the whole story!

My plan for now is weight training 3 days a week and running 3 days a week. It sounds like a lot but I am easing into it.

As for Baby Man... four weeks old today! He's doing really good. He never did catch on to taking the breast so I am still pumping for him 7-8 times a day. But he is gaining really well, up to 8 pounds (birth weight was 5, 14) so at least I know my milk is doing him good even if he won't get it from the tap! Also DH made it home for his first home time since finishing the hire process with the new company. So if I'm scarce over the weekend ya'll will understand why!

It sounds like you did really good with your pregnancy. And I bet you are not completely done with the shed. I know I kept thinking I was done but then the weight kept coming off so hopefully the same will be true for you. I think your running/strength training plan sounds good. If I could ever get interested in running I might do that too.

Glad you are getting back into things. Pumping is hard. I work full time so I have pumped during the day with both my kids. Good Luck.
