Do you do it? Do you find that it helps you to eat healthier?

I like to meal plan but I don't actually do it that often. I usually just go to the store and buy what's on sale. It does help me when I have a plan. I just can't seem to make the time for it. Plus, dh and I shop together and he is very funny about buying things that aren't on sale. If I have a dinner plan and it involves buying a cut of meat that isn't on sale, I just have to scratch it because he won't want me to buy it. I need to get better at planning my meals in advance based on the sales so he will go along. He likes when I am frugal and couponing and stuff but I've been too lazy to do it lately.

I usually have an idea, and then forget because I don't write it down. Or find a recipe and use up some ingredients lol.

I always meal plan. On thursday night every week I get out my cookbooks and plan what we are going to have for the next week. Then on Friday I grocery shop and get everything we need. I find it helps us eat healthier plus we save money because we very rarely eat out.

I will meal plan as far as what we are having for dinner that week, usually when we go grocery shopping I have an idea of all of the meals I want to fix and then set up a little menu in my head of what to have which night. I don't mind mixing things up though depending on what DH and I are craving. Other than that I plan my lunch for the day, usually an hour before I make it.

I meal plan and I do think that it helps us eat healthier. If I know I have the ingredients to fix certain recipes then I'm not as likely to pull a frozen pizza out of the freezer or hamburger helper out of the cupboard.

We do meal plan for the days that we cook. DH and I cook Mondays and Wednesdays and my parents cook Tuesday. But for what we make is planned in advance.

I don't but I'd love to!! I need good ideas though. Neither DH or I are healthy eaters by nature so I wanting to try and work on this more. But, my parents are coming into town Thursday and then we are leaving for a several night trip to Monterey CA. So, it'd be useless to start now. I'm hoping once they leave in mid July that I can start planning more.

I do when DH is home. Since it's just me and Alex right now I don't really.
It does help me eat healthier when I have everything I need ready for whatever meal I was planning instead of throwing something together.
