Do you know how many calories you burn when you exercise? Do you keep track of this?

I have no idea how many calories I burn when I work out. I don't have any sort of monitor so I just really don't know. I am guessing I burn around 400 calories when I work out but that's just a guess. None of my equipment has a monitor/display that tells you how many calories you burn so I just guess and I don't really keep track of it.

Yes, sort of. I don't have a heart rate monitor or anything. I just go by the estimates in MFP, and then, since those estimates are probably high, I try not to eat all of my exercise calories back.

I do I have a Polar HRM....I love knowing how much I burn and how much I can eat!

Sometimes I will try to log it on MFP but I don't always do it because it varies from workout to workout. When I do log it and keep track, I always underestimate my calorie burn to keep from eating back too many calories on the days I am super hungry, and to play it safe in general!

I was using a HRM and I still wear it, but I find since I cheaped out on it, it's not that accurate and it randomly does not count the calories. So I tend to take an average between the treadmill (when using it) and my HRM and MFP estimates. 20-30 calories a workout isn't too bad to be off...but I like seeing how many I worked off in a week!

I don't, unless I randomly log onto MFP, and I find it to be as accurate as I would like.

I have a HRM and love knowing how many calories I burn in a workout. I do keep track of calories burnt on MFP (using my HRM totals instead of MFP's guess).
