Are you good at doing the "healthy snacks between meals" thing? Or do you tend to not eat at all between meals?

I have been bad with snacking these past few days because of graduation parties and just family get togethers. I am back on track again today though. So that will be really awesome.

I usually try and not snack between meals - even if healthy. As I tend to over eat that way as I love snacking. Occasionally I'll have some carrots or a string cheese to help if I get really hungry to help boost my metabolism

With the fasting I do I only eat one big meal and then a decent sized snack before bed. I overeat if I try small snacks.

I snack between meals. I will go absolutely insane if I don't...I get shaky and can't think straight if I go too long without eating. I have several "go to" snacks that I know will fit into my calorie allowance, and I can eat one of those and be good to go. My goal with snacks is to not eat a "carbs only" snack. I try to always have protein/fat along with carbs. For instance, if I eat an apple, it will make me much hungrier than if I ate nothing at all, but if I eat an apple with a little peanut butter, I'm satisfied. I snack on things like almonds, granola, cheese, hummus, etc.

I normally eat healthy snacks between meals, something small, or else I'm so hungry by the next meal that I overeat!

It kind of depends on how stocked we are on groceries. Usually if I have snacks I will eat healthy snacks but if we are low on groceries I just skip the snacks.

I snack. At night I sometimes eat crap. Its definitely an area of improvement for me!

I'm also trying to avoid snacking between meals. For me, a small snack leads to another small snack which leads to a bigger snack which leads to grazing. I have a better time not getting started, rather than trying to stop.
