or just start where you are at?

Yesterday I didn't push myself too hard because I knew it had been a little while since I worked out. I used a little lighter weights and just tried to get my workout done. I don't try to catch up but I do get discouraged because I usually lose progress or if I don't lose progress I still feel like I have because I didn't make progress during that time. At any rate, there's not much I can do when I come out of a slump but start over.

Are you trying to lose weight or get in shape? Stop by the Mommy Fitness board and say hello.

I usually just try to jump back in where I left off, but it's not always that easy (depending on how long I was in a slump), sometimes I have to go back a bit further and work my way back to where I was.

Yep, same here. Trying to do extra and catch up is a great way to risk injury or burn out, I think. I just pick up where I left off, or backtrack a little if necessary.

Same here. I will start out slow and try to get back into the groove. You definitely don't want to try to do too much too soon and hurt yourself.

Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy

I usually change it up. I figure if I got into a slump its more then likely I wasn't challenging myself or got bored with my routine.
