Generally, indoors. I occasionally go on walks with the family (not really for exercise), but most of my workouts are indoors. If I were going to walk/run, I'd probably rather do it outside than on a treadmill, but I hate running anyway.

I prefer to be outside. I loathe running on a treadmill, I think mainly because I know I run differently on it and it makes my knees hurt. I like to have a change in scenery, and I like to feel like I'm going somewhere. Any strength training I do inside.
well I do not have a treadmill...but I do like to walk outdoors...I think it gives me more motivation....fresh air....and besides I just can't stop walking if I am outside....I do have to turn around and go home instead of just jumping off the treadmill if I do not feel up to it LOL
