And, I'm hoping this will help me get results I'm looking for!!!

It's the Les Mills 21 day food challenge? http://shbam-4-hhac.wikispaces.com/f...+Challenge.pdf Has anyone ever heard of it? My sister and her new boyfriend tried it got great results. I figured I'd give it a try since I'm not too pleased with my current results.

It's mainly: High protein low carb diet. With NO - fruit, starchy carbs, sugars, or dairy.

I think it will be very hard for me but also good for me if I stick closely with it. Veggies 4-5 times a day does not sound like fun! I never eat veggies for breakfast and it was hard getting them down this morning. I just hope I have the motivation to stick with this.

I've heard of it, but never knew what it was. I might be concerned about the "no fruit or dairy" part of it though. Maybe someone else will know more than me though?

I have seen that before, but haven't looked into it too much. I hope it gets you the results you want, though! It looks like it would be tough!

I wouldn't be able to do any sort of "diet" that restricted what I could eat...IMHO I think it only sets you up for failure to cut things that you like out of your diet, I know for me it would only lead me to just be miserable and unhappy and crash and burn.....

How long have you been doing what you were doing before? Your body still may need time to adjust....

I've been trying for almost 3 months. Just eating healthier, low carbs, lighter on the sugar yet still eating in a way want I want and just exercising more. It has not worked!! I really need to loose this baby weight before trying to get firm. My stomach is a little firmer but I still weigh the same (and same measurement) as I'm not loosing the weight so the fat is still there underneath.

My doctor once recommended me to do the south beach diet which is no fruit no/low carbs so I don't think the no fruit would be a problem. I've never done the no dairy before though. I had good results with the South beach diet and loved it! The only problem was I got pregnant near the end and never quite finished it and re-gained all I lost in my first trimester.

Good luck!

I heard it takes 21 days to kick a bad habit or start a good habit

3 months is really not that long if you think about it....it didn't take you 3 months to gain the weight right? So try not to be discouraged....it took me 6 months just to loose 20lbs...and I had weeks where I would loose nothing and even gained like 5lbs back in a month (eating too little actually caused that) but I stuck to it and eventually what I was doing started working....

what workout program are you following? Do you track your calories accurately what you eat and burn? If you are just guessing what you eat/burn you may be off by quite a bit....maybe get a kitchen scale and measure everything out? and get a HRM to get a more accurate reading on what you burn

I have not heard of this (I will look into it and see what it is all about) but the Les Mills programs are out of this world.. From what you said it looks a lot like how I already eat (with the exception of fruit).. I don't do dairy hardly ever - the only milk I consume is almond milk and rarely use cheese.

Keep us posted on how it goes for you. I have done 2 of the Les Mills programs and had great results with them.. It is a very well known name and company

This looks interesting to me. Personally, I don't think dairy is necessary in your diet so I wouldn't have any problems cutting it out, especially for just three weeks. I went dairy free for a really long time because Shawn couldn't tolerate it when I was nursing.

I'm bookmarking this because I might try it at some point. I think it's worth a try, it's only 3 weeks. Do they have a plan to follow after the three weeks? Can you do this diet long term?

I don't think they have a plan after the 3 weeks but I'm not 100% sure. For me this diet is hard as I love cheese!! And, I'm not use to having to force myself to make 4 meals of protein a day (since one meal is a protein shake). I know my sister did this 2 months ago and so far has stayed at the weight that she did after she lost. I'm just not very good with dieting but this one seems to be helping me more than others.
