I think I am one of the fittest people I know, not because I am all that fit either! I just know a lot of out of shape people and I'm nearly 40 (next week!). I do have a few friends that are in better shape than me but they are in their 20's so I don't think they compare with me. I'm not trying to reach the same level of fitness as a 20 year old. I just want to do my best for my age.

Compared to family members I'm really fit. Compared to people I know who work with dh, not so much.
I try not to compare to other people and try to focus more on how fit I am compared to how I used to be.

I'm probably somewhere in the middle. I know people who can't take their kids to the park down the street with out being drenched in sweat from the 1/3 mile walk. And I have friends who run 5k races at 36w pregnant.

I could walk 10k every night before I put on my weight (and then hurt my foot)... it might take me 3 hours to do it some nights.. but I still did it. My walking buddy always bailed at the 2.5k mark and headed home.

My neighbor runs 100 mile races but yet my family doesn't even take the stairs.... So hard to compare for me! LOL!
I am more fit than most I know but the ones who are more fit than me make me feel like a lazy heifer

My mom walks daily and does workout videos several times a week. My sister runs and does workout videos. Hubby does nothing, but he has a very physically demanding job, its like super heavy weightlifting all day lol. A good friend is in SUPER fit condition. Everyone else...meh. Everyone in DH's family are dumbfounded that I'm running...they're like "why would you want to?" and they are BIG eaters...everything is about the food. So all over the place here.

I'm probably more fit than 75% of people that I know- most don't workout at all, but most of the ones I do are bodybuilders so they're hardcore about it.

Middle of the road, I guess, if we're talking about current state. A year ago I might have said better than most.

I'm not fitter than my husband- he's at a super healthy weight and runs 10 miles 3x a week. If you don't count him, I'm the healthiest in my family BY FAR. Like way far. Both fitness and just overall health.

Friends wise, I'm in the middle. My fitness is in the middle. I have several friends that run a ton and exercise more than me. But eating healthy foods wise, I'm in the top 75% of my friends.
