I'd like to say I've been really pushing myself but the truth is the last week's worth of workouts I have been just muddling through. I had taken so much time off that I didn't want to overdo it. Now, I want to start really pushing myself but I don't know if it will happen until next week. AF is here and I never do as well when she is around.

these last couple of days I have really been stepping up my game and I feel so much better for doing it too

In the middle somewhere. I have to say that the contest is pushing me to exercise more than I probably normally would, so that's good. BUT...within each workout, I don't always feel like I'm giving it my all. I've been so busy lately that it's been hard to completely focus on working out like I would like to.

I'm taking it a little easier this week since I'm running a 10k on Sunday and don't want to be sore!

After the race I plan to really focus on weight lifting.
