Just lurking and curious what everyone here does for a weekly workout routine and how its going for them. I started my routine/eating right on July 14th 2013 and I'm hoping to reach my goal by November 14th. My routine consists of every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I speed walk for 65 minutes on the treadmill (30 mins of it at a 4% incline). Then on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I do 40 minutes of arm weights. I keep my calories to 1200, sometimes a little more, eat 6 small meals a day (so about every 2-3 hours) and I drink about 3-4 32oz bottles of water each day. I'm 5'2 and my starting weight was 151 lbs and I'm currently 121 lbs, hoping to get to 116 lbs next month. Looking forward to finally maintaining . Though it doesn't even feel like I'm dieting bc I love the new foods I'm eating and I've always loved working out.

Welcome to the board! My routine goes like this. I do a 3 day split for my strength training. Chest, shoulder, & triceps in one workout, then legs, then back and biceps. I do an ab workout that includes planks and weighted crunches 3 days a week and I try to do the elliptical for 20 minutes 3 times a week.

I think you workout looks good. I don't do as much cardio but I am not trying to lose weight. The only thing I might change with your routine is adding strength training on your legs. I think if you added some lunges, squats, and calf raises into your routine it would help. For me most of my body fat is in my legs so I try to work them regularly.

the only routine I really have is to work out 6 days a week...Tuesday being my rest day

Hi, welcome! What you're doing seems to be working great!

Right now my typical routine looks like this:
Sunday- long run, stretch
Monday- weights, yoga
Tuesday- tempo run, stretch
Wednesday- rest (yoga if I have time but this is a busy day for us)
Thursday- weights, maintenance run, stretch
Friday- interval run, yoga
Saturday- something easy or rest

Welcome over here! I have no routine right now. But I would usually run 3 times a week and do strength training 2-3 times a week

Well it's been a little over 3 weeks since I posted this and I am currently 115.2 lbs . Might take it 1-2 more lbs at the most and then work on maintaining. Very excited
