Hello everyone,

I'm new here. Just been kind of lurking for a little bit before I decided to introduce and join you all. My name is Colleen, 23yo, w/ one DD. I just had my DD on May 30. I have 11/12 more pounds to lose before I'm my prepregnancy weight, but I'd like to be about five pounds less than that because I started gaining a bit of weight before I got prego. Anyway, I started working out at Curves again about three weeks after DD was born (I worked out the whole time I was prego), I work out three times a week, and I try to watch what I eat (no fast food, no soda, buying low fat and reduced fat food), but I seem to be at a plateau. I don't know what to do... I'm looking for any tips and support I can get from you guys. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. Also, I looked at your before and after pictures and I must say, you guys are doing FANTASTIC! You make it look so easy! Congratulations!

Welcome to Mommy Weightloss Colleen. I"m Dina mommy to 3. Glad you decided to join us. THe ladies here are wonderfully supportive and encouraging.
As for a plateau, I have not a clue how to get passed it. Maybe change up your excercise or eating habits a bit, excercise 1xtra day etc.

Glad your here and I cant wait to get to know you better

Maybe you should try to adjust your diet a little bit! move from "low-fat" to maybe "low carb and low fat" or something like that...really up your water intake! it's sooooo disheartening when you do that...isn't it. i hope we can encourage each other!! good luck to you girl

i think someone posted about how they were at a plateau and took one cheat day a week and that worked.

We are so in the same boat. I need to lose about 13 more pounds and I can't seem to shed them at all. Sounds like you are doing really well maybe just look more at your diet. Although I know that I am not good at that myself. Welcome to the group!!

I am Jessica, 25 yrs old, SAHM or one little boy. We are TTC #2 right now as well.

Well thank you all for being so welcoming! I'm looking forward to being here. It's very discouraging when you hit a plateau like this. I'm kind of freaked out that I'm going to start gaining it back, and really, I'm pretty healthy about what I eat. Anyway, thank you for your help, and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all!
