I have it too. i don't have an answer for you. But this is my plan. Lose the weight slowly, and to cardio exercises. Cardio well help burn the fat on the stomach, and weights and crunches will help tone it. But you have to do both, cruches alone won't do it. Losing weight too fast while not exercising will leave you with lose skin. Also don't give up the dairy. In another post I cited a couple of places where research is showing dairy helps trim the belly fat. While talking to my dr when she took the c-section stitches out she said I might have loose skin, but don't let that stop me cause there are things that can be done about lose skin. The only thing I know is a tummy tuck, and the military won't cover that. I don't think any insurance does and i don't have 15000 dollars or whatever it is. So I don't know, but I'm giving it my best shot. I don't expect a perfectly flat stomach, but not rolling over my underwear would be enough for me.

I have loose skin at the top of my undies and some really really low where the stitches were from my C-Section. I gained 50 lbs with Grace (and have lost all but 11 lbs!) and was huuuuge, so I'm not shocked!

Hopefully we can figure this out! LOL!

Yeah, I have the flabby belly too. From my first pregnancy 7 1/2 years ago. I would LOVE to get rid of it.

We should ask the lady in that Dove lotion commercial - you know the one where there are all those pg ladies walking around and then that lady is there holding her baby and it shows her C-Section scar and then the baby?

Anyway, she has the flattest, most adorable stomach........ HOW DID SHE DO THAT?!?!

Good question!!! My stomach wasn't that flat BEFORE all these babies!!!!

Speaking of lotions, has anyone thought of trying that new Nivea skin firming one??? I got it, I can't tell if it actually helps or not. I'm thinking it might though.

i was thinking about getting that Nivea stuff. i am not the one to be hooked by ads and commercials, but it looks like it's worth the try.

and yes, i am thinking of doing it by tape at home. i don't hve time to go to a class and i would spend more on a class then on the tapes at home.

Yes, crunches will help. Both of my Boys were big at birth. I have done crunches off & on through the years. They help so much!

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

I had that problem too and still have a slight tummy. I think the best thing is crunches ( i do those on my stability ball) and Pilates
