Okay, I just did 2 miles on the gazelle and my goal is to do 5 a day.. but is that really going to be effective if you don't do it all together at once?? I'm not a very good "fitness" buff and haven't been since I got pregnant with Maddie so I know nothing
2 miles is great!!!!!!! I love walking outdoors on a track I could walk 2 miles easily outside. My parents have atreadmil and I cant make myself get on it. It kills me.. LOL My problem is I hate walking alone, and I have no one wanting to walk. The people I know is older and not able to walk, or just lazy. I dont wanna walk alone.
I have always been told that rather you do 15 minutes 4x a day or a whole hour in a row you will reap the same benefits. I do not have time to do an hour of anything, but I can squeeze in 15 minutes, so i say doing 2 miles in the morning and 3 in the evening (or however you break it down) is just as beneficial as doing 5 all at once. The main thing it to get your heartrate up and keep it up for 15 minutes at least (I think its 15 min., its been a while since I took a fitness class, but i think that is the goal).
