I have never had a C section, both of my children were delivered natural, however I do pilates and I can tell a difference in my lower stomach and just the shape of my body. I have the Winsor pilates series and I love it. I actually just ordered the the dvd set with resistance. One dvd works just the abs, one dvd works just the butt and thigh area and one dvd does the entire body. I can't wait to get it.

I did pilates last fall but only for like 3wks before I got pregnant then didn't do them anymore. I've just started doing them again this week so we'll see what happens. I'm 5w pp this week. I'm not sure about when you've had a section. I'm sure exercising in small amounts is ok. and then when you feel better and more up to it gradually increase your efforts.

i tried pilates once... lol... the Windsor one... and had a very rough time with it. I'm used to just jumping into a workout and being able to do all the moves and stuff, but with pilates it takes some getting use to.

hmm, i still haven't bought it yet. i really don't have the money just yet. my friend has it and said it definitely works the lower stomach. im thinking that might not be so good to do just yet after a c-section so i will wait a little more to start it. for now i can do my tae bo tapes.
