I REALLY DON'T THINK I WILL BE ABLE TO WAIT THAT LONG...I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO FIT BACK INTO MY NORMAL CLOTHES AGAIN! I DON'T THINK I'M GONNA DO ANYTHING HARDCORE RIGHT AFTER I GIVE BIRTH, BUT I WALK ABOUT 3 MILES EVERYDAY NOW, SO I'M THINKING I'LL CONTINUE THAT W/ SOME LIGHT PILATES OR YOGA UNTIL MY DOC GIVES ME THE OK TO DO OTHER THINGS!

well from what i have heard, pilates works your tummy, so if you have a c-section then it might now be the first thing on your mind. walking would be GREAT! again tho, with a c-section, do light walking. it's going to be 6 weeks tomorrow and i haven't started any exercises. i really don't even know when i will be able to because of time and 2 kids and money. so eating right is ESSENTIAL for me right now. i try to get in as much walking as i can though..

I think the only reason they suggest you wait is that you give yourself some time to heal. because the more you do the heavier your bleeding can be. that being said FOR ME.. as soon as my bleeding lightens up (usualy around 2-3wks post partum) I start doing light exercises and if my bleeding picks up then I slow down what ever I'm doing. Easing back into exerciseing is the best way to go.

you'll feel a bit different about exercising after you give birth.. lol Well, at least i did.. dont' get me wrong.. i still cant' wait to get started but my body isnt' ready yet.

I had a c-section and my tummy is still achey and even if i walk for 30 minutes i'll feel really crampy later on.. so i'm definitely going to wait until my 6wk checkup and see what my doctor says.
