can I run and do crunches? I never have been a gym person, but really want to tone my tummy (crunches) and run for energy. I am not getting a lot of sleep and running gives me energy.

another girl just posted asking the same thing. you should wait 6 weeks, unless DR says ok earlier. but dont start on your own, you could hurt yourself.

definitely wait until your doctor gives you an "OKAY". like Val said.. you can not only get hurt, but you can do more harm than anything. my doc said something about your ab muscles separating while pregnant and if you start working your tummy out early, you might never get a flat ab cuz some of the fat might get trapped behind the muscle because your uterus is still big.

something like.. not sure if that made sense.. but if it didnt' just ask your doctor.. i'm sure they can explain it better. but definitely wait to do crunches.
