Well, I thought losing the weight after ds was born would be easy...boy was I wrong! I gained about a total of 40 pounds with him and have lost all of the but 10 pounds...the problem is I'm still about 35 pounds overweight. I want this weight, or at least the majority of it to be gone by the end of November. Is this reasonable?

I'm breastfeeding, which hasn't done my body a bit of good...not losing weight with it! I plan on joining curves since it is the closest thing to my house...

Are my expectations unreasonable?

i say set short term goals (maybe a certain weightloss for every month) and then a long term goal. we have a weightloss chart going up, and we are have been setting goals for the month. some girls have 2 pounds as their goal and some have up to 5 pounds as a monthly goal. as long as you are committed to trying as hard as you can, no goal is too out of reach - except for the goal we all have and that is to just wake up with the pounds GONE! lol

we have a wednesday weigh-in, so just jump right into that. and we also have a weightloss journal subforum. go ahead and make one if you'd like and just journal anything you'd like!

we are all here to support and cheer each other on through this sometimes very hard journey. (((hugs))) to you. welcome and good luck!
