the best thing about weight watchers in my opinion is that when you are journaling, you are more cautious of the "a bite here, a bite there" syndrome. and most of the times if i don't know the points and i don't feel like having to look it up later, i just won't eat it. it makes it easier to have a reason to NOT snack on crap while out of the house.
so tell us what your diet is and what is the best thing about your diet?
well, I have been on ww for almost 3 weeks. I like that I have daily points and then 35 flex points to use whenever I want...
I can still have pizza and eat out on Sundays after church with my family and friends... I eat only my daily points during the week and only use flex points on the weekends...
Plus,if I exercise, I get more points for that too.
I am not depriving myself of the foods I love..

I do South Beach and i would say that I like it because I don't have to keep track of calories, points, carbs, fats, etc. I also like the idea that I feel like I get to eat all the time
I love that it has taught me to pick healthier food choices for example instead of wheat or white bread, I eat multi grain or whole wheat or sugar free whole wheat...little things like that have really made a difference in the way I feel and look and I love it.
I tried weight watchers and yes I failed at it
I tried Atkins and I hated not being able to enjoy for fruits and veggies, breads and things of that nature..plus I am just more of a low fat person. I have never really ate high fat foods and with Atkins I felt like that was all I was eating.
I tried cutting calories and for some reason my body doesn't lose that way nor can I lose cutting fats, so South Beach has worked best for me. It's funny how everyone's body is made up so differently and how certain things work for certain people.
I keep a journal on fitday of what I eat so that I know what I do consume during the day and that way I can't just block it out and say that I didn't have it because I have to write it down.
