Thought maybe some of you could sympathize, but I just need to get it out!!! I still have a few weeks of pregnancy left to go, but I have not been treated kindly As I looked in the mirror today, trying to pretend the bulge was not there and asess the damage, I come to a few horrifying conclusions that involve my extremely large (I kid you not) behind and my thighs and well I am not sure you could call them love handles, more like an excess amount of 5 inches or more of FAT hanging on either side. YIKES! I had not really given myself a good look in the mirror but for a sideways belly shot here and there. It just is making me feel more than a little down. I mean I am not asking for a pity party (I can do that on my own LOL). I am just stating the fact aloud (or aboard ?) that this is something that will need looking after. I just cannot live with this body after the baby comes. Did any of you feel this way at the end of/after your pregnancies? Last time I weighed so much less when I got pregnant and this time I weighed more and gained more. It is not a pretty picture. I just hope that I can stay steadfast and determined when the time comes and not just slip into depression over it (which is so easy to do). I am afraid that because the results will take time, that I will not be able to do it. Anyway thanks for listening (or reading ) in on this. I just don't have anyone to talk to about it and it feels better just to get it out so it is not eating at me anymore!

CHRISTA i can feel your pain. i never lost the pregnancy weight of my first child. and so i started out pregnancy #2 with ALL that extra 25 pounds...i was so scared. and i had weight problems so much after my first pregnancy that i thought i was DOOMED to an ugly body after this pregnancy. but i just started from day ONE eating right. and now it has [aid off...i am 1.5 pound away from my prepregnancy weight for this pregnancy and it's only been 2.5 months! i am not the one who weight loss comes easy to and here i am losing weight so fast! it is shocking everyday to me.

you will be ok, you just have to remember what you want and that is a healthy fit body. our hips may never slim down, and we may have a little tummy left over no matter how much we work out, but you will be fine as long as you are eating healthy and feeling good about your body. i feel awesome about my body right now because i know i eat good. and when the scale shows it too, i am EXTATIC!

I REALLY think you will be fine!

Thanks for the encouragement (((HUGS))) it really does make me feel so much better! I could live with wide hips and a little ponch but these fat thighs and my fat BUTT lol has to go!!! One of my problems is that I am a tv snacker. What snacks do you eat that are healthy for you? I could start on this now!!!
