Just wondering how all of your Dh's are dealing with the diets and weight loss. It's so hard to lose weight with my Dh around. He's all about cake, ice cream, and sodas. Any kind of junk food really. He hates salads and doesn't really like to eat the healthier foods for dinner. So, I want to know, How do you do it? I don't have the time to cook 2 different meals, it's just the 2 of us as it is.

Dh is supportive, he will eat healthy, doesn't mind salads etc. but he like to have sweets with tea after supper, so there is always something in the house.
A lot of times I can do good on my own regardless of whats in the house but sometimes i get a chocolate craving.
My problems is how much I eat and how often, not really what I eat.

DH is supportive but at the same time he won't diet and he loves to have junk food around so it makes it hard. I have wonderful ww recipes that i make and DH loves them. So I don't have to make 2 meals. The only reason its not really diet food to him is the portion sizes he eats are 4 x the size of mine but the food is great.

dh is very supportive, but he loves the junk food and it makes it hard. he doesn't like to eat anything but burgers, tacos and chili, will soak everything in butter and salt or cheese....ick! its hard to cook for him so i usually just make dinner for me and ricky and let dh sleeps as he works nights...

Mine used to be a little too encouraging, almost insulting...One year for my b-day he bought me a WW membership for 6 weeks....another year, this high tech scale, this past birthday, he bought me the latest Taebo exercise DVDs....
I have taught him what to say, what to do....
as for junk food--none in the house...I don't need to rely on will power if I don't buy any and bring it into the house. If people are coming over, then I'll buy some and make them take the rest home...
My DH is really understanding since he relates his old drinking problem to my eating/weight loss problem...

DH is supportive although he feels that I don't need to lose anymore weight and felt that I was fine before.

He doesn't care to eat healthy dinners and neither do the kids..DH eats his junk cereal for breakfast and he eats fairly ok for lunch and then a healthy dinner.

I don't buy junk food...and since we are on a budget that gives me a great reason not too..because it costs more to buy those things. I have never bought junk food or even sodas....so really their wasn't much change..they only get foods like that if they go people's houses.
