We are signing a pool contract tomorrow, we're having a in-ground pool put in...which means I NEED to get serious if i'm going to be in a bathing suit all summer long and have pool parties! My neighbor just told me she is a swim teacher on the side, so she will help me teach my 3 children (not the baby of course) to swim, and she is so super in shape....I refuse to feel fat and yucky next to her! I HAVE to get this weight off, no matter what I do I have not dropped a single pound in OVER 2 months! GRRRRR

I have never felt comfortable in a bathing suit and probably never will!
But I know what you mean...I just want to get serious and really get my body in shape NOW, while I am still young because I know the longer I wait, the harder it will be.

Good luck, you can do it!!! And how lucky to be getting a pool! That will be so much fun for your family!

I just feel so fat, i'm getting very discouraged b/c i'm not losing any weight and i'm trying pretty dang hard...grrr...

good luck !!! you can do it !!!!! as far as that not losing weight in the last 2 months... i would just re-evaluate what you are doing with your diet and exercise and see what you can tweek (more intense exercise or cut back something from your diet) to get your body to start losing the pounds again. My weight seems to keep flip-floping so i am not trying to commit to journal so that i can see where i am going wrong.

I think it's my diet, b/c I have never worked out until a few months ago, so really according to everyone I should be shedding more than I am...so it must be my diet. I've NEVER had a good diet, and I made a lot of small changes, but nothing drastic....I guess I need to make bigger changes...I have NO willpower, so that does NOT help!

You can do it! You might have to make some changes if you aren't used to eating healthy, but there are so many great things out there you can eat that are healthy too.
