I have found a very yummy low-cal lunch....Veggie Egg Rolls! They are pretty big, like 6 inches long, and they taste delish, and they are only 100 calories each! I can have 2 for lunch and not feel terrible! The chicken egg rolls are 120 calories. I buy them at our super-wal-mart. I'm a dork, i'm excited I found something super yummy, cheap, and actually FILLING for 100 each!

Are they in the frozen section then? I'll have to pick some up!

No, they aren't frozen, they are in the cooler section near the deli...by the more ethnic foods...next to it was sushi (yuck!) and different types of Chinese quick dishes...

I like them too b/c I'm not a big veggie eater, I hate most veggies, so I like that I am getting cabbage, celery, and tons of other stuff in them...

What are the fat and sodium contents? They sound good, but low cal isn't always the most healthy when you figure in what the macronutrients are. I'd love to know if they would be something I could work into my DH's eating plan.

I don't have the package since I have none left....I know the sodium is on the higher side, but the fat content is very low. I enjoy the veggie ones much more than the chicken, and they of course have pork and beef ones, but I like that the veggie ones are only 100 calories and have I think 11 g of protein. They do have a higher amount of carbs than some probably like, but I don't mind the carbs if there is enough protein...

Oh, shoot...I forgot to look when we were at SWM yesterday. I'll try to check later in the week when I go back.

I did look when I was at Super Wal-Mart yesterday, but they didn't have the veggie. All they had was the Pork which were 140 calories, 7 grams of fat (63 calories of fat, or 45% fat), and 370mg of sodium (264% of the recommended for that calorie of food), so I decided that they wouldn't work for our family. DH has to avoid that much sodium and I can't do anything with that high of a fat content. Maybe the veggie ones are lower in fat since they don't have the high fat meat in them, but I couldn't find any here.
