Hi ! I'm a semi new homeschooler and new to this forum.

My name is Kristy. I've been homeschooling my 9yr old son and 7yr old daughter since last August. I've also got a 2 1/2 yr old.
We love, love , love homeschool! It has changed all of our lives for the better.

We live in a small town in rural Arkansas. DH is an EMT so he's away alot, but he's very interested in what we do here. I've got lots of support within our extended family as well, but not much in our community. So, I'm hoping to find that here!!

Well that's my little intro.
I look forward to chatting with y'all.

Kristy

Welcome! I am glad you have support through your extended family. Many do not! That is a definite blessing. Have fun and I look forward to getting to know you better!

My best friend lives in Arkansas...she will homeschool her children when they are older. If you are okay with it PM me where you live. She could use some homeschooling friends close to home! I am her only support and we live almost 2 hours apart.

We homeschool our two boys 9 and 5. We adore homeschooling. Ours have always been home and I can't imagine any other way.

MissyPrincess I tried to PM you but I kept getting an error message.

Anyway we live in the Northeastern part of the state. There is only one " support group" in this area that I know of. It's very large ( about 250 kids, so I've been told ) but it's not something that i'm interested in.
