Good morning girls! I know I am horrible about keeping up with the board lol.... I am going to try and make some time later to get all caught up. I just wanted to stop in real quick and say hello. We're not doing much today, Jamie is off on Sunday's and Mondays, so those are our days off too. I have some cleaning and laundry to do and I have to run to the grocery store a little later. I think I might stop and get a haircut while I'm out. other than that, we're just hanging out. It got cold again so we probably won't get out to play today. I really miss the nice weather! Luckily, it's supposed to get nice again by the end of the week. So, what are everyone else's plans for the day?

Hello! The rest of today is just a typical Monday. Nothing special planned unless you count laundry as special lol We already finished doing school. I threw up this morning. Usually I don't go back to throwing up until 36 weeks. I'm 32 weeks. Ugh. I've been getting more and more nauseas again over the last 6 weeks. I really hate being pregnant lol

Morning! My hubby comes home today so we'll be hanging out with him. It's sunny but chilly outside today so outside play will be limited. We've got some math and grammer worksheets plus new spelling words. And we may go to the library. Other than that it's clean, clean, clean. We didn't do our chores this weekend, so now we're behind.

Morning, Julia! And everyone else! Well, let's see....I got up at 4:15 this morning to get dh ready for work and then laid around on the couch watching tv and switching loads of laundry around when it was time. Then I got the kids up and fed and talked on the phone to my sister for over 2 hours! Now I'm sitting here putting off the inevitable......grocery shopping! I HATE grocery day! Especially with 3 rowdy boys in tow. But we have to eat, I guess. We'll get in our schooling when we get home, most likely. It's going to be one of those days, I can feel it already.

Hello!!

We've got chores to do today! Daddy is home so the boys are playing outside with him. I've actually been feeling pretty good the past few days. I can't make anymore excuses not to get things done. So far I've done some laundry and I've gotten the fridge cleaned out. UGH!! It was a pain, but it REALLY needed to be done. It looks good now. Poor Eathan came in and asked where all of the food was. It's time for me to go grocery shopping and I'm dreading it like Jenn. I've left it up to Doug to take care of the past couple of months so we're do for some real groceries in the house. I don't think I'll tackle that today though. I managed to get some errands ran this morning. I had to run to the bank and the post office. We had to go by the mower parts house too so that Doug could get some part for the weed eater. Geesh! I'm glad you asked! It really looks like I got something accomplished today besides keeping the couch company.

So far we went to our food co-op to pick up our order. Stopped at the library to return books, and the store for a couple things. Then home for lunch and now the kids are doing schoolwork. Later I have to get my house in order and make dinner. Then relaxing with the hubby tonight.

Well it's Tuesday here and still first term school holidays so my friend is coming over with her two daughters for a play date. I've been sick all last week with some cold/swimmy kind of thing *sigh* Yesterday we did clean up the lounge and back deck so now I just have to go vacuum because the lounge has all these tiny bits of styrophome(sp?) from the packaging that came with Daniels new 'Cars' bed. We really need to be getting back to school. I put on Music Ace Deluxe yesterday and had a go at it, my friend is going to look it over and give her opinion (She's musical) Other then that I guess we wont be doing much but I better get some laundry on before she gets here.

Well.... it's not morning anymore, and the day has happened already, but I had my four year old nephew here for his first "official" day of pre-K. He threw my intention to do a "slow and very gentle approach with minimal work book time" right out the window! I can't believe that a child who has an attention span of like 30 seconds for workbooks that are IN colour actually sat and did almost 45 mins of black and white work book stuff (admittedly about 20 mins was painting a picture, but regardless)! I've read a whole pile of books, some more than once, we're learning a poem about the owl that hears more the less he speaks (something we need to work on in his life), and are working on memorizing some Bible verses. The poem is almost memorized already, and I fully anticipate having the verses memorized by the end of the week, and maybe even more than just the three or four I picked-- this kid has an incredible memory-- he was quoting full conversations he and I, or he and DH had had two months ago to me today, word for word... minus a few syllables and sounds, lol!

And, we went to Wal-mart, and the post office, and then after getting kicked out of the inlaws house because they were about to cook something I'm allergic to, I went to foodlion to buy strawberries which are on sale at the moment... and discovered that I CAN eat something here that I CAN'T in Canada, so I decided that since it's been something I've been wanting for nearly two months, I would get some! (it's not very healthy though) Now... I just have to make supper, which is very quick and easy because I'm having my not so healthy food that I bought.

Sounds like everyone had a busy day! I actually accomplished nothing today, I didn't even leave the couch except to cook dinner and clean up the kitchen afterwards I feel so lazy *sigh*

And I'm sorry Heather, that really sucks. I think that is one of the worst things about pregnancy. I HATE throwing up. I also hate the reflux, which woke me up in the middle of the night. It was seriously the worst burning I have ever had in my life. I don't remember it being so bad with the other two.

I had no heartburn with Ani or Fritz, but this one and Cameron... ugh! I take papaya. Rolaids did bad things to Cameron's placenta and I think really contributed to his small size (my other two placentas have been nice and healthy and beautiful at 7 and 10 days past my due date, but Cameron's, at 5 days past his due date, was full of calcium deposits and not really healthy looking - typical of a placenta of a woman who took a lot of antacids during pregnancy - and Cameron was my smallest at 6 pounds 6 ounces - Ani was 6-11 and Fritz was 7-13). Papaya works pretty well. And avoiding chocolate. Chocolate is guaranteed to causes the burning in me. Ice cream helps make it better

That's interesting. I take a lot of tums. Probably because I can't stay away from spicy foods. I know, bad for heartburn, but i get the worst cravings for them.....They actually had me on Zantac, but it didn't really work so I quit taking it. I will have to try the papaya though!
