I wish I could have a nice separate space for school. Ah well, I can be jealous of yours!

Cool and good luck getting it all cleaned out!

Here's our schoolroom before decorating it. It's got the US and world maps up on the walls now. I'm planning on getting some posters maybe this weekend when we got to the curriculum fair. We're on the lookout for school desks. Ani really wants one of those. The big table is mine, the round table (the top of it is chalk paint) is for the big kids, and the little white table is Fritz's.

To put pictures on your posts first you need to put them somewhere on-line like on photobucket or something like that. Then while making your post click on the icon that looks like a sunset or something like that. Put in the URL and it'll insert into your post. Or you can type out [ img ] URL of the picture [ / img ] without all the spaces.

Hey, Heather! We have almost that exact same panelling in our livingroom! (and our kitchen...and our schoolroom...I call our house The Woodpanelled Wonder! Kitchen and schoolroom are painted, though!)

I love having a separate room for school! We're blessed that our diningroom converted perfectly! I'm thinking about changing it around next year, though, just to keep things interesting. We have an antique schooldesk in there that Reilly used for a bit in kindergarten, but it rarely gets used now. Also, the table that Deco sits at is a little worn and patched with duct tape, so I may replace that, although, honestly, next year he'll be doing much more with us than he is now and will probably be sitting at the table with us. *shrugs* Who knows?

Very cool.. we have a "school room" but we never do school in here..LOL.. it's more like where I store everything and Noah does do 75% of his work in here..it' s nice for him to have the alone space! I plan to put some desk's out in the playroom once they are doing more independent work!

The way I put pictures in is after uploading to photobucket I click the img line under the picture that I want which copies it, then I just paste it in here. You can paste either onto a post you are doing or into your siggy area. I have never used that sunset button.

LOL I figure that rec room was probably a happening place in the 70s with that woodpaneling and maybe an orange couch...

Here is my desk area I have an old school desk

I am using the closet behind my desk for extras and storage

Here is our chalk board wall and our "spring" wall they can bring any pictures or anything springy and tack it up there!

Here are our cubbies and book shelf area

Here is their table. With so many it works very well plus then I can sit there with them as well and help them and there is room!

Oh it would be so nice to have a space for school things! We have a one bedroom apartment, so school happens at the table where we also eat. The table is right outside the kitchen, so rather convenient in some ways, but it is kind of annoying to have no space for the school storage. I can't wait till we can live in a place where there is a second public room!! :-)

I'm so jealous... I wish I had a school room. Right now it's just our living room couch and our kitchen. (Since we're learning about the human body I put up posters for visuals... my husband commented on how he didn't particularly like looking at the digestive system while he ate...)

Here are some pics of our "school room" (otherwise known as "The Other Half of my Dining Room"). These were taken back in the fall so we have added another desk since my nephew joined us.
