I had a u/s on Monday and it said we are having a BOY! I knew it! They'll do another u/s on May 21st and it will confirm either way. I'm excited for another little man! I got a little sad that I won't ever have a little girl, but I really am not upset about having another boy. Does that make sense? I think it all just hit me that this is my last baby. I'm extremely emotional this pregnancy anyways so that doesn't help. I think Doug was a little bummed that it wasn't a girl. He wouldn't ever admit he wanted a girl, but I think deep down he wanted a little daddy's girl. He's happy with another boy though.

Caleb and Carter are the front runners for the name. If you ask Eathan what the baby's name is he says Caleb Doyle. It's so cute when he says it. I've got plenty of time to decide and now that we know it's a boy I'm not as stressed about it.

Congrats on another little man! I remember when we had our u/s with Justin. When I saw that it was another boy, I had that little twinge of disappointment because I knew he was our last I would never have a little girl. But the disappointment didn't last long. Just a brief moment. I think Jacky was disappointed at first, too. But we're both as happy as can be with 3 boys. Just think, you'll have 4 men to dote on you for the rest of your life!

Thanks ladies. I'm really excited. Everything is just so real now. I feel like I just found out I'm pregnant.

I think that is why I always didn't want to know. I was so disappointed with my last pg bc I saw it on the screen. I never asked her to verify bc I didn't want to know for sure, but I didn't think there was any mistaking what I saw either. LOL

With my first the Dr slipped and pretty much told us a week before delivery. With number 2 he told us a girl, and well he was a 9lb 5oz boy. I had no luck with knowing or not knowing. LOL

Congrats! Seems like I know sooooo many people with either all 3 girls or all 3 boys! We have the 3 girls, and DH wants a little boy so badly!

Congrats! Caleb Doyle sounds like the name of a very sweet little boy!

( I have the three girls, but only two boys. The kids really want me to have one more boy so we can be the Brady Bunch. Haha! )

Congratulations! I didn't find out with any of mine...loved it that way. We did, however, see what we were pretty sure made Carter a boy, but at that time, it didn't matter one way or another. I will never forget the feeling of them placing Madison in my arms and saying it's a girl when we had THOUGHT THE WHOLE TIME that it was a boy. Jeff was in shock. Then, when they placed Patrick in my arms and said, "it's a boy", I cried so hard. I don't think I had let myself even admit to myself how bad I wanted him to be a boy, but I cried so hard when I first held him. I just couldn't believe he was mine!! "Sigh"..the joys of childbirth!!!
Are you done after this baby because you don't want any more than 3 children...I was just curious.
Your new little boys will be so happy to already have two playmates...they are going to love him so much!!!
Congratulations!!!

There are a number of reasons why we are done at 3. I think I could have one more, but really we don't have the room and it doesn't look like we'll be moving anytime soon. I really go back an forth, but ultimately we feel that 3 is enough for us. I'm thrilled it's another boy. I think it was just the finalization that yes, there's really a baby and this is the last one I'm going to have. KWIM? It all seems so real to me when we find out what we're having, but I enjoy finding out what we're having. The only one I didn't want to find out with was Eathan, but Doug wasn't up for it. I would have been devastated if Eathan would have been a girl. I wanted a boy soooooo badly with him. Then I needed him a brother and I guess I needed both of them a brother now. I really just want a healthy baby in my arms.
