We make good money...how come we are broke??? I really want to get a math program for Scotty. I'd like to get phonics books and teach him to read well this summer. I know he can do it - he already is! I am so bad at saving...and by the time we get the $, summer will be over. POOH! Sorry, just a little vent!
Make it a priority. We save a certain amount every paycheck to buy stuff.

Ditto what Heather said.. we put away money every paycheck and also from every one of Noah's child support checks for school. wee don't make much money so it had to become a priority so we could have what we wanted/needed for the kids .

You could do like one month of hard core living. Pay the bills, by the food, cook at home with a planned meal for dinner and easy breakfast and lunch (NO eating out), Stay home and have fun doing stuff at home to save gas, go out and do a fun family thing when Hubby is off of work, and see how much you save! Live on only what you need to live. It really FUN to see the savings!
