Just wondering what everyone uses for writing (not handwriting..creative and compositional writing).

I've looked at Writing Strands and that looks good, but I'd love to know what everyone else uses and what they think .

Thanks in advance!

We are not there yet with Scotty and Bryce is not homeschooled. I guess I really can't help. I can say that I am a writer and have always loved to write (my BA is in English/Technical Writing). My thought would be to find his niche and help him expand on it. I loved writing short stories about tons of things - whatever my ind could come up with. And then when I got a little older, I enjoyed personal narratives. I got my start in those things that I truly enjoyed.

Talen has Writing Strands but we have stopped using it for now. He is 6.5 and I just don't think he is ready for it yet. For lack of a better description he simply finds it boring. I am going to try it again next year but right now it is not working for us.
