Madison had friends over yesterday and did fine at church last night. She came in from church complaining of being hungry. As soon as she sat down to eat, she ran to the bathroom and started throwing up. She threw up 4 more times before we were able to get enough Phenergan in her to help her stop and sleep. She has been fine this morning...sipping on a lime slush that I went and got for her. Her little friend that shopped with us on Saturday is also sick, so I guess they picked something up from the mall!!

As for me and my throid issues...it is still a mystery. My thyroid panel came back fine as far as the T3 and T4's, but the TSH is still showing some overactivitiy, which doesn't make any sense to the dr. at all. They drew some more blood for some more test and is sending me for a thyrod ultrasound on Wed. As far as my state of mind, I finally agreed to take the Lexapro, along with Xanax when I need it, to keep the anxiety down until they can figure out what is going on. So, I am feeling more like myself at least...was even able to tolerate and enjoy a house full of kids for most of yesterday. When I talk to the dr. about my latest results, I am going to ask her to go ahead and put me on the list for the endo dr. because we only have one in our area...it will be a long wait to get in to see her ! Anyway, that's what's going on with me. Now, I'm just hoping that no one else starts throwing up with whatever Madison has!!

I'm off to try to at least get some school in with the boys!!!

Oh no, I am sorry Madison has a stomach bug. Those are the worst! I hate throwing up. UGH.

I am also sorry to hear about your stress with your health right now. You know how I obsess and worry, so I definitely know how hard it can be to have something wrong that doesn't make sense. Even though mine aren't usually the worst case scenario like I fear, there is usually something going on that doesn't make sense to me and that doctors just dismiss. I really hope they get to the bottom of this for you very soon. I am glad you chose to take the Lexapro. It has been a lifesaver for me. I also take ativan for really anxious moments. Again, not sure what I would do without it.

Please keep us posted on your health. You will be in my prayers!

Sorry Madison is sick. Hopefully it'll be short lived. I hope they can make sense of your thyroid.
