I know someone here was using a musically based Latin program, I think it was Heather. I ran across Song School Latin and wondered if anyone had any experience with it. Thanks so much.

Well I just listened to some sample songs for the Song School and it most likely with not work for Talen. Anyway I am thinking of going with Prima Latina, unless anyone has any other suggestions. We already have Rosetta Stone but I am looking for a supplement for helping him with writing, etc.

Well I found it, I think. I am pretty sure we will be doing Lively Latin. I am going to do some sample lessons first but so far it looks like a good fit for us.

We are almost done with Song School Latin. All that's left is one more son, a review lesson, and the crossword puzzle. The kids have enjoyed it. They regularly use certain Latin phrases in conversation now (like ignosce mihi which is excuse me). It snows yesterday and Ani looked out the window and said "Look! Nix!" We learned that weeks ago. It's been fun.
