I am looking for the name of a program for teaching foreign languages to kids. I know about Rosetta Stone, but when I was looking into it before, someone had told me about a program that works better for before Rosetta, but I can't remember the name of it. It was a similar program to Rosetta but geared for the first few years of school.

Does anyone know the name of what I'm talking about?

Someone told me about ... um ... Muzzy? Is that what it's called? I haven't tried it, though.

Muzzy... tried it. Will it teach your kids much? Nope. They'll learn the alphabet, or at least the vowels, colors, some basic words, but far from the fluency the creators claim. The storyline is superweird and Muzzy himself is kind of freaky and hard to understand. I always say to check it out from the library if they have it before buying it. It's not cheap, but it does (or at least used to) sell well on eBay

I know it wasn't Muzzy, it was something else that was really close to Rosetta.

Oh, ummm.... the one from... um... shoot. I think I know what you are talking about, but I can't remember. Let me Google and see what I can find...

I can't find it. I don't even know if it's made anymore. But Rainbow Resource has a LOT of options: http://www.rainbowresource.com/prodl...173&subject=15
