I know I have heard that the Lifepacs were boring from AOP but what about Horizen? Anyone know? I know I have been thinking about horizen math if we dont go with Abeka.

We really disliked Horizon's Math. It went too fast, was too overwhelming for the dc, and we ended up switching pretty quickly. I never used the other products from them.

I didn't care for Horizons either. There are much better programs, imo.

I've heard a lot of negative about Horizons.

I used half of Horizon kindergarten math and then chucked it because it was just too spiralled! I don't think that's actually a word...but there were honestly so many things in each lesson that it seemed very random. I hated it, Reilly hated it, it was frustrating for both of us, so we didn't finish it.
I've not used any of their other things, though.

I have just used the math and we just ditched it!!! I liked it at first and Toby is using the K book without issue, but Bailey is not liking math at all. It's too fast, too random and no mastery at all. I just posted about it in another thread in more detail.
