Does anyone know how Chelita is doing? Did she do the surgery yet? I must have missed something.

Sherri said Chelita is recovering, but not as fast as she'd like to be. Matt's taking very good care of her.

Oh, poor thing! It seemed like she wasn't really looking forward to it either. I hope her recovery speeds up for her!

I hate to hear that. It took Dan a good 3-4 days to get back to himself and even then, lifting and laughing were not fun.

Yes, the laughing is hard. That's one reason we can't hang out on the phone too much....we laugh too much. I'm ready for her to get back to normal!!!!!

Chelita called today . She had a pretty good day today but still isn't getting around very well. We think she will feel a lot better once the stitches come out!!

Yep, dh had the dissolving stitches and once they actually dissolved, he felt much better. He also had a "tightness" and his got really red, but the doc said it was not infection...just where the tissue had been through such trauma. I sure hope Chelita is back to herself soon!

Thanks so much for the updates Shery! Please tell her we are thinking of/praying for her!

I'm glad she's feeling a little better. laughing is always the hardest in abdominal surgery. I really hope she starts healing faster.

The site of the incision is okay now, it is the muscles surrounding my belly button and the darn plastic fishing line he strung me up on! And he has it anchored into the side of my bellybutton that wasn't cut. I think he was trying to be all plastic surgeon on me. It hurts more than the incision! It is horrible! I have to take something to fall asleep because it bugs me so much! I am so ready for the 12th!

Oh yeah laughing or coughing isn't good! Best to kind of roll out of bed too. I found it was the muscles that hurt more then the incision. That plastic sounds horrible though.
