Today was the area homeschooler's Books n More sale. I got so many great things. Many of them FREE! I've decided I'm not buying ANY actual "textbooks" next year. Everything except Math (which I already have books for- Singapore) are going to be learned using real books.

I've gotta ask! What are you talking about? What is BnM? How did you get that stuff free? How do I know if they're in my area? I've never heard of any of this.

Books N More is just what our area homeschoolers call their used curriculum sale. The "n More" was tacked on because people sell things other than "curricula". One person had a kidney table, another had a Lego Engineering game (our homeschool group bought it for our 4-H club), models, regular fiction/non fiction books, etc.

Oh, cool. I googled books n more and found a bookstore, but I was pretty sure that wasn't what you meant. I didn't see anything about homeschooling. How did you find the group doing this? I guess, in a sense, it's like a big homeschooling "yard sale" of sorts? Is it advertised?
