Today we went out because it was a nice day and a kid was playing across the street!! He's 7 and goes to a charter school about 30 min. away. He stays with his grandma in the summer and after school which is right down are street. We live in the middle of a whole bunch of college students because the university is right down the road in the other direction. So it's great a kid stays around here.

Yay, what to Miquel think? Did they play well together?

We have alot of older children way down the street, but just one boy and girl across the street. Matt the little boy who is between Remy and Eli in age is okay. I like him. But he LIES all the time! He is getting better at communicating with me, it was horrible this time of year last year. And he can't say much to my two other than, "Hey, Dude!", and LIES.

That's awesome..we have no kids in the neighborhood. Well a few in the 12-13 year old range but that's it!

That's great! We have a bunch of kids on our street but until last summer we never saw them except when they were getting on and off the bus for school. Then my kids watched to see which houses had kids in them and then went door to door asking if the kids could play. Where we're moving has no kids because there are not many neighbors. We'll be living on 8 1/2 acres.

That great! I hope he and Miguel hit it off!

We have way too many kids on our street. Most of the time they are in our backyard. And there are only a few that I like- the others have too many behavior/attitude issues. Ugh. I'd like to live on 8.5 acres with no one else around!

thats awesome!!! What does Miguel think?

I wish we had kids Duncan's age in our complex (we live in a secure townhouse complex, kinda like fort nox, LOL). We have a teenage boy who graduated high school last year who often calls Duncan to come play soccer in our adjoining driveways.

Miguel's been wanting to go over as soon as he woke up. They played for about an hour last night. They talked about bugs, though Miguel screamed and ran away whenever they found one. Then ran back and stomped on it. I think searching for acorns went better and then they played video games.
