Matthew's last day at work is on Wednesday, he has been making half of his normal checks for weeks now. One day this past week we were overdrawn in our checking account, a first in our WHOLE marriage, and we didn't have enough to pay bills. We are doing everything we can and praying like crazy.

I just really need some thoughts and prayers right now. Tomorrow is a holiday, so I bet we don't hear from that one job he interviewed for until Tuesday at the earliest.

It got so bad last week that I called my mother crying. I never do that, never. It was just a rough day.

I know it will all work out...but just how it will...who knows. I haven't allowed myself to get too down or to wallow in it. But the past few days it is inching in on me.

I am not sleeping well, and find it hard to settle down at night. I have to take this to my God over and over again during the day. *sigh*

Just be thinking of us...

I am praying so hard for your little family. Keep God in your heart. That mountain that you are climbing is bound to get rough sooner or later. We have been there and we made it to the top. You're a strong woman Chelita and know that you are loved. Sending big hugs your way.

Hugs and Prayers for those of you struggling. I understand the fear and uncertainty. Hang in there and know we're thinking of you!

I have to commend you though Chelita for going your whole marriage without overdrawing your bank account. My goodness- I wish I could say the same. :-)

Oh, sweet friend! I'm praying for you as you deal with this. I can imagine how stressful it is for you.
I'm reminded of the words to my most favorite praise and worship song of all time.
You may know it already, but here's a link to it: Blessed Be Your Name

Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in, Lord
Still I will say

(Chorus)
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name
(Chorus repeats)

You give and take away,
You give and take away,
My heart will choose to say
Lord, blessed be Your name

Prayers that you all come through this unscathed and stronger because of it. And prayers that Matthew gets a great job offer soon
