So our car has been leaking, something...I take it in today and it was oil, we were so close to having none which would have killed the engine. SO they take care of it since it was just something loose and gave us an oil change. They did a complete car inspection and our front and rear brakes are 99% gone!! Not good. So we get the estimate....$608!!! My dads helping us and we are getting them fixed tommorrow but yikes!!
Then we get to the library and find out Hailey has a fine on her card ( haven't been there in months!). Well obviously with DH being out of work we have NO money. We aren't even getting unemployment. We were $15 over the amount they allow to still check things out. SO my kids are close to tears and the lady gets us a supervisor who gets the acct manager. Well I was so happy because she actually wrote a personal check to cover it!! She said she strongly supports homeschoolers and wanted to help us out!! I was so happy! I am going to give a nice donation when DH finds a job!!
Sorry about the car But what an awesome library lady!

oh man that sucks about the car. I've been there before! But it is great news about the lady at the library, it is really cool when people do good things for others they don't even know! I've tried to do this, when I can.

Car troubles are never fun, especially when a big bill is attached. I'm glad that the woman at the library was kind enough to help you out. How did it get to be $15 without them notifying you? Out here they send you e-mails to remind you when things are due and if something is overdue you get an e-mail and a letter. That way your bill will be under a dollar hopefully.
