My blog post about it with pics! Just ignore that hideous floor! That's what was under the carpet when we pulled it up. Now, thanks to Home Depot, we have to wait on the new flooring until who knows when!!!

Great job! I'm jealous of all the shelves/cupboards you have! We have four bookshelves all overflowing, plus three desks and various other areas piled high with books. I wish I had one place for all of them.

BTW, love the wine glass in the before picture. Did you have to fortify yourself before tackling the mess?

It was tea, I swear!

Dh built my cabinet. I absolutely LOVE it!! He's awesome & can/will build just about anything I ask him to. That sucker is HUGE! We barely got it in the room. And forget trying to rearrange furniture by myself with that. But I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Looks great!

I wish I had the gumption to tackle our spare bedroom and turn it into a school room...but I have a feeling we'd find ourselves at the kitchen table anyway.

We do! But I just really like having a seperate space to keep everything organized. We have a 3 bedroom house & all the boys like to share a room anyway, so we turned the other room into the school room/office.

I have the same glasses!!!!! They are called princess glasses in my home.

The room looks great.

You will have to update when the flooring is put in.
