I'd love it if you are interested to check out my blog and cheer me on. I'm hoping it keeps me super-accountable.

Heather, that's wonderful! I hope that "going public" is just the boost you need. In fact, it would probably help me too, I just need to get past the embarrassment factor. Also need to get back on WW - I lost 20 lbs. on it before getting pregnant with Milly, and now it's all back plus some. I actually have about four pounds on you.
Have you ever been to SparkPeople? It's a big, overwhelming site at first...but I've found a TON of helpful things there - including some great low-fat recipes. I do disclose weight and blog there, because shhhhh, no one knows me...

I have lost 60 lbs since July 24 of last year (about 10 more to go!). I absolutely love the 3 Fat Chicks site for information and support. I also love spark people for logging my food. Congratulations on the start of your journey!!
I think having a blog that is public is a good idea for losing weight. And doing it with your mother. Support and accountability are really helpful. I don't know if you want any advice, but there are a couple of simple things that I am sure you already know anyway....but chewing sugar free gum or brushing your teeth often can curve cravings. And sometimes when your body is telling you its hungry it is actually thirsty. So if it isn't actually a snack/meal time but I feel hungry I get a drink of water and see if I still feel hungry after that.
I love your blog and I bookmarked it. What are pizelles?
