... the whole neighborhood is standing outside gawking at the dust of snow and taking pictures of miniature snowmen.

Hah. There was snow in Austin the week before I first visited NC. It was the first time they'd had snow in well over a decade I think and the first night I was NC they got over a foot which is totally abnormal for this particular area too.

It's a little weird I guess that Austin is the first place I ever saw snow.

We ended up getting an inch, but it was gone by late afternoon.

I didn't know anyone was in Austin. I'm just outside of Kyle... for about another 6 weeks or so.

It hasn't snowed here since we first moved here three years ago, when all of downtown shut down because of it. There was news footage of no one being on I-35.

My kids were super excited and even got dressed to go outside and play in it (and eat it out of the sky). Funny kids.

Guess I spoke too soon. Snowing again I am so over this winter. I NEED spring!!!!!! I was reading something and a comment someone made was that Mother Nature is bi-polar and she must of went off her meds! LOL! We are running almost 15-20 degrees below normal now.
