Hi! I'm new here and I was wondering if any moms use educational software or games to homeschool their kids?

I have a four year old, an eight year old, and an 11 year old and want to engage them with games where they can learn. I'd be interested in either desktop software or websites for any subject. Thanks so much for your help!!

I noticed that you posted the exact same question on 5 different boards. Is there something more specific you're looking for? Do your children have any interests or disabilities that would guide what software they use? Why do you think they need software for learning... I mean, are you looking for a homeschool curriculum online, or do you think the public school isn't providing enough of an education for them? I'm not sure what you're looking for.

For now, you can check the resources subforum. There are lots of sites listed there.

Sorry, I did not mean to flood the boards. I was just looking for some recs and thought I would throw out as many fishing lines as possible. I'm not looking for anything homeschooling-related actually, but I thought that homeschooling parents might be more familiar with homeschooling parents than other parents.

I'm looking for an educational website that my kids will find fun. I've looked at Club Penguin and Webkinz and while they seem fun, there's not any educational value there. I would like to improve the reading skills of my 4 year old and the math skills of my 8 and 11 year olds.

Where is the resources subforum? I looked in the list of message boards, but could not find it. If you've used any educational sites for your kids, I would love to hear about the good and the bad!

Try time4learning.com

The list of resources is located in the subforum at the top of this board not on the list of all the message boards on JM.

Some of these are just links in my favorites folder, but most are ones I've actually used.
Here's the resource list (Free Curriculum).

No problem. I have a huge spreadsheet full of links that are supposed to be free homeschool links, but I haven't had a chance to look through them yet. I really need to get my butt in gear and add them to the resource list.
