After much thought and talking this over with the head of our hs group (he is a ped at the group we go to and they have hs 4 kids 2 have now graduated) and have made the decision not to have her tested. The only thing testing accomplishes is providing a label on the child. Public schools need to do that to determine if the child meets the requirements of their categories to receive govt. funding. I do have curriculum which is geared towards those with a LD. So, we will just continue as we are and just keep reinforcing the areas where she is lacking.

Sounds like a plan to me. Did the ped have any kids with LD?
