Miguel took his Terra Nova test today first time with a group. He was tested at second grade because he's seven. When he finish the test he brought me his scrap paper. He had 2 pages with full size colored in pictures and NO math on the pages. I was told "I didn't need the scrap paper." I'm sure he got the 50 percentile because he got a 87 percentile on the second grade CAT last year. However he was disrupting the other kids "playing drums" , got his reading book taken away, and they had to find someone to get him out of the bathroom after 20 min.

Uh-oh! Did he have anything to say about that ... other than the scrap paper?

He didn't say much of anything. We were told that he was good but they had to find someone to go in the bathroom to get him. He told us that his book was taken away and was told others were still taking the test. After awhile he showed us on the table why she told him that. We'll just have to see if they will let him group test next year.
