How often do you go to theaters with your kids just for fun? How often do you go for an educational movie (or play, musical, etc.)?

We go to an educational (play, movie) about 2x a month and just entertainment 1x every 1-2 months. I count watching movies that he read as books educational.

Not that often. I used to go to movies much more often when I just had one child. Now, it's just not easy with 3. I don't think the little guy will sit in the movies yet.

I've recently borrowed How to Train a Dragon from the library, in high hopes that we'll be able to make it to the movie theater.

We have never taken our children to the theaters for a movie.
My husband and I rarely get to go ourselves LOL.

My children are very rambuctious and loud, Im not ready to deal with their loudness in a "quiet" theater LOL.

We have normally do not go to the movies because we wait until it is out on DVD to rent or own.

Years ago we loved to see movies at the outdoor Drive-In. Sadly, it closed and was demolished in 2009.

It has to be a good movie that we think the boys will want to sit still for to see. We are going to try and see "How to train a Dragon" when there are less crowds.

No movies here either. I took Whit once when she was younger to see Madagascar, other than that she has never been back and the other 2 have never been. There are a couple of musicals that she wants to see, so once those come around here, then we hope to be able to go to them.
