I'm going to sticky this. Here's how it works ... I want everyone to list all of the curriculum choices they're either currently using or have used in the past. Please ONLY list the things you've actually used, even if it was only briefly before deciding it didn't fit your needs, or things you've reviewed well enough that you plan to use them during the following term. That way when people have questions about something, we can look through the list and see if anyone is available to comment on it. If something is relatively the same for all grades, just list the name. If it varies, please list the actual book/level you used.

Please come back from time to time to edit your ORIGINAL reply. Thanks!

I love to hear what everyone is using!
But it would be really cool to hear about why you like/didn't like a certain curriculum. Pros/cons etc! Since I am new (my first year) and I want to put together my own curriculum next year, I would love to hear more about each choice! When you have time, of course! tara

I am listing things that I have used as a school teacher, and plan on using with my girls at home when they get to these stages as well as a couple of things I have for them now. All of these things I would recommend.

Math
Everyday Math Series (available pre-k-6th grade ... I plan on starting it with 1st grade though since the pre-k and k stuff is pretty standard early math skills, I like the scope and sequence though for the rest of the grade levels)

Reading/Spelling
SPIRE (this is for learning phonics skills and pertains to k/1 - about 3rd grade)
Evan Moore's Read and Understand Series (I have 1st - 5/6 grade materials in this series - each story have several activities to go along with it that work on comprehension, spelling, and language skills)

Pre-k skills
I Can Trace!
I Can Cut!
Kumon complete book of tracing
The Complete Book of Arts and Crafts
Mail box Magazine's "the best of" Theme Units (I actually photo copied 12 theme unit books from a friend when I taught pre-k years ago)

WOW, anything we've ever used! This will be quite a list, and I'll likely have to do it a little at a time. Coming back later!!

ETA: Work in progress!!

Currently using:

StudyLadder
online supplement. I won a year's subscription but there is a free version too. My sub gets extended if I refer people, so let me know if you decide to do it. Not sure yet what I think about it, but at least my 8yo (who is difficult in getting to do any work at all) is enjoying it!

7th grader
R&S English 6
Math-U-See Epsilon (**Zeta)
Getty-Dubay handwriting
Mystery of History v2
Illuminations Year 2 (literature and Bible)
Switched On Schoolhouse - science5
**English From the Roots Up
**TUGAT (Ultimate Geography and Timeline... some way, never can remember the acronym LOL)

2nd and 3rd graders
We are a little behind with these guys because of a rough 2010, so lots of this is 1st/2nd really.
First Language Lessons
Explode the Code (2nd only)
Scholastic Spelling (3rd only)
Math-U-See (Alpha, Beta/Gamma)
MOH2
ILM2
The Child's Story Bible (by Vos)

We are fans of all things online/computer based, lol.

We used Starfall for early education

What are we using now?

Time4Learning (have used for Pre-K through 7th grade so far) for language arts, math, science and social studies.

Vocabulary and Spelling City for vocabulary, spelling and handwriting (I am able to create and print handwriting worksheets using our word lists).

Learning Games for Kids for educational games in many subjects; all of our core subjects, plus art games, health games, keyboarding games and more. Both boys (ages 12 and 7) use this site every day.

We have some how-to books for art (how to draw, how to paint, crafts to make with household items, etc) and we have a couple of really good science experiments book. We also use the Internet for tons of additional activities. The boys watch educational videos and google things ALL the time.

They are both active in Scouts and they play soccer in both the spring and fall seasons.

They both read a lot, we find recommendations of good books from our library as well as from online sites like Barnes and Noble (we all have eReaders, so often BN will recommend books based on what we have already read. That's nice, lol)

I think that's it. I can come back and update as I think of things.
