Noah goes today at 5:30 to take his placement exam for the local community college for dual enrollment! If he doesn't place into college level he can either go to prep classes they offer OR take pre-college courses.. either is a great route .. odds are in at least English and possibly History he will do very well.. Science and Math are iffy.. we are excited as this means he will be "homeschooling" but taking all his classes at the community college..lol

So, if he does well, does this mean he'll get high school and college credit at the same time? Do the credits transfer to other colleges? (That's how it is here most of the time, but I know some don't do that.)

Yup..even if he doesn't do well .. he will either test into college courses or pre-college and if it's pre-college he gets HS credit if it's college he gets both.. and yes..fully transferable!

Cool! Best of luck to him! My oldest would do the same if for some reason public high school does not work out for him.
