Cleaning mostly. We get a new stove delivered on Monday, so I have been cleaning the kitchen all Sunday afternoon. We have several appointments so our homeschooling week will be a short one.
This week are continuing our study of Kenya. Last week we began our study on the country of Kenya. We have been reading plenty of books, learning about the culture and music. This week we focus on the wildlife of Kenya.
We hope to visit my older sister "D' before she and her family travel to Louisiana later this month for church related event there. The boys want to learn about the state their cousin is going to visit so we may end up adding Louisiana to our geography studies this month!

This week is going to be a busy week for us. We start new summer program this week. We will be study about the gulf coast and it's habitat. We are going to do some research with the oil disaster and how it will effect the habitats, etc.
We start new math for everyone this summer. I am going to do some phone calls this week for some field trips that I want to do.
Matthew keeps wanting to start school. He was out of K less than a week when he was asking to start school I couldn't believe it! I am not completely prepared, but have enough stuff that he has things that he can do on his own. I wasn't planning on starting for another 2 weeks. We are getting a rental truck to finish getting things from the other house either Thurs or Fri. We would have had it done, had DH's transmission seal not went out on the Blazer So we are carless until he gets home from work everyday.

Monday was a trip to the specialist for Daniel after waiting 4 months for an answer. We walked away with more questions than answers, though.
Today is nothing... was supposed to have been a trip to the children's museum, but D's sick.
Tomorrow is supposed to be a movie and church, but that remains to be seen.
Thursday is a movie and ... should've been library... but now the cabinet people are coming to do some warranty work (the dishwasher wasn't installed properly in our new house, so there's water damage on the cabinet facing of the dishwasher area).
Friday is occupational therapy, getting my car fixed and possibly meeting with our financial planner... although he might have to go out of town.
Saturday is probably going to be a movie. Not sure yet.
School is school....... reading, math, handwriting, latin, and bible mostly... throwing a little geog, health, and art into the mix once in a while. Next week will be our last "real" week of summer school. Two weeks of camp, a week off, two weeks of camp, two weeks off, VBS, and then the Fall term starts. The off weeks will be very light on school work... just enough to give him something to do. He's already bugging me about starting zoology back up again. (He doesn't know it yet, but the classes I signed him up for at camp should be ocean-centered... they're first come/first served, so we'll see which ones he actually gets placed in soon.)
